Engineer
Developed and executed mechanical
integrity tests and provide technical support for
underground storage caverns and salt water disposal
wells in the Gulf Coast, Michigan, Kansas, and West
Texas.
Project
Manager and Engineer for various underground storage
well workovers in the Gulf Coast, Michigan, Kansas, and
West Texas.
Special projects included:
Developed an extensive mechanical
integrity for a five and six well test program under the
new underground cavern storage regulations in Kansas.
Develop a new method to evaluate the
mechanical integrity of interconnected bedded salt
caverns.
Develop and execute mechanical
integrity testing for a brine production facility in New
York State.
Developed and managed a 6 well workover
program for one of the largest gas storage reservoirs in
the United States.
Project manager for the development and execution of a
stratigraphic test well program to evaluate the
potential the expansion of a depleted gas storage
reservoir. The well was directionally drilled to allow
for the completion of a suite of geophysical logs. The
well was plugged and abandoned following the log
evaluation.
Develop a conceptual design and budget for a five well
drilling program in a depleted gas storage reservoir.
Drilling program allowed for the directional drilling of
all wells from one surface location to minimize project
costs and schedule.
The investigation of long-term health and stability of
mined storage caverns in the United States, removal of
pumping equipment and evaluate the condition of the
product casing, and develop strategies for recurring
operational and engineering cavern issues.

Cargill Salt
– Lansing, NY and Avery Island, LA
Maintenance/Operations Supervisor and Project
Engineer
Organized, planned and controlled all
activities of a multi-disciplined maintenance department
in support of an underground salt mine.
Organized and coordinated the
production and hoisting schedule for a salt mine surface
operation. Worked with the quality control department
personnel to ensure the product would meet the customer
and contract specifications.
Developed and patented a production
process for a value-added deicing product. The scope of
the project included testing of various mixing and
storage techniques, budget/commitment development,
product testing, customer presentations, start-up,
operator training and contractor management with zero
accidents.

Guard and the New York Air National Guard as a security
policeman.
